What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on a user’s device while using the website. They enable, among other things, core site functions, remembering preferences, traffic analysis and – with consent – the personalization of advertising content. Cookies may contain personal data if the information they carry can be linked to an identified or identifiable person.
Types of cookies used
Necessary (technical):
• Purpose and operation – ensure the website’s core functions and security, such as session maintenance, form handling, load balancing, anti bot protections, and adapting the interface to basic device parameters. Without them, using the site would be significantly hindered or impossible.
• Legal basis – do not require the user’s prior consent, as they are necessary to provide an electronic service at the user’s request and to properly transmit communications over the network.
• Data scope – process a minimal range of technical information (e.g., session ID, login status, user choices required for the site to operate), not used for profiling or measuring campaign effectiveness.
• User control – can be blocked in browser settings or by blocking software, but this may cause the site to malfunction (inability to log in, complete a process, remember form steps, etc.).
• Period – may be session cookies (deleted after closing the browser) or persistent with a short, predefined storage period limited to the technical purpose (see details in the table below).
Optional (analytics):
• Purpose and operation – enable measurement and analysis of website use: number and sources of visits, navigation between subpages, load times, technical errors, or element “click through.” They help improve performance, usability, and content.
• Consent – installed and activated only after the user gives consent in the preferences panel. Lack of consent does not limit the site’s functionality, but the given visit will not be included in statistics and analyses.
• Data scope – collect information on interactions with the website and basic device or browser parameters. In standard configurations they are aggregated and used for statistical purposes; they may be configured with additional safeguards (e.g., IP masking, shortened retention).
• Third parties – if external tools are used (e.g., analytics providers), their files may be third-party cookies. Details (file names, providers, lifetimes) are listed in the table below.
• Period – depends on the provider and configuration (see details in the table below).
Legal basis and consent
Necessary cookies are used without requiring user consent because they enable the proper operation of the website and the services provided.
Optional cookies are used only after obtaining the user’s prior consent.
On the first visit, a banner is displayed informing about the use of cookies and offering a choice: “Allow all,” “Reject all,” and “Personalize” (detailed settings). Consent can be changed at any time in the preferences panel.
Lack of consent to optional cookies does not limit access to the website but may reduce the relevance of marketing content or the accuracy of statistics.
Analytics tools
Analytical tools and tags (e.g., web beacons/pixels) may be used on the website to support site operation, statistics and, with the user’s consent, marketing.
We use, among others, Google services (e.g., Google Analytics) to collect information about the use of the website and the functions provided. Information on Google’s data processing is available in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Depending on the configuration, other third‑party services that use their own cookies may also operate on the site. These cookies are only activated after the relevant consent is given or upon interaction with an embedded element.
Cookie choices
• Consent to install optional cookies – select “Allow all” or configure them in detail under “Personalize.”
• No consent – select “Reject all” to reject all cookies except those that are technically necessary.
• Change settings – you can change your decisions at any time in the preferences panel (link in the footer or in the banner).
• Browser settings – you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Configuration must be performed separately for each browser and device. Limiting cookies may affect some website functions.
